At Van Geoff’s expense, an independent gemological testing laboratory provides a combined gemological report and appraisal. A controversy within the jewelry industry is the reliability of jewelers who self-appraise and self-test gems they sell. This creates the appearance of a conflict of interest. Van Geoff believes providing an independent gemological report and appraisal will contribute to consumer confidence in the jewelry industry.
How do I obtain the independent gemological report and appraisal?
When you purchase a necklace, you will be provided with a combined independent gemological report and appraisal. Each necklace is assigned a specific identification number, gemological report, and appraisal.
Does Van Geoff have an authorized affiliate or branch store in the United States?

Where do your gems come from?
Our rubies come from Africa, emeralds from Brazil, sapphires and jade from Thailand, pearls from China, lapis lazuli from Afghanistan, and turquoise from the United States and Tibet.
Are Van Geoff gems "color-enhanced" in any way?
Many are.
A secret of the jewelry industry is that most gems have been color-enhanced by traditional methods such as heating, dyeing, and oiling.

Where are your necklaces shipped from?
Necklaces are shipped from our facility in the Kingdom of Thailand.
Who pays for the shipping?
Van Geoff provides free one-way shipping. The shipping costs of returning merchandise is at customer's expense.
Are necklaces returnable?
Yes.
Returned merchandise requires a RMA (Returned Merchandise Authorization) number. The RMA number may be obtained by contacting Customer Care. The RMA number must be placed on the outside of the package above the "Ship To" address. Packages without a RMA number will be rejected.
At customer's expense, necklaces in new condition that are accompanied with proof of purchase may be returned within thirty (30) days of purchase to our shipping facility in the Kingdom of Thailand for a refund, merchandise credit, or an exchange. We strongly recommend obtaining a tracking number and insurance. We cannot provide a refund, merchandise credit, or an exchange for necklaces not received by us.
